They target the tat with pulses of light that break down the ink, which are then broken down and removed by your own internal systems. Intense Pulsed Light Therapy (IPL) – Similar to Laser Removal, IPL uses a high intensity light that has similar effects. These method has been considered less painful than laser therapy, and often needs less total treatment sessions. Unfortunately, this method is considerably more expensive, and can cost 10+ dollars per PULSE of the laser, which can result in a rather expensive tab.
